Most dentists extract teeth too fast and too easily, and replace missing teeth with dental implants. Yes, implants are easy and fast to apply, and are also predictable and look good. They look and feel like natural teeth. But very few dentists put in the effort and the time to save a badly broken tooth. Extraction and dental implants are all too often performed in many dental clinics.

I try to do everything that is in my power to save the tooth. There are many tools available for this: a root canal, gum surgery, crown lengthening, hemisection (splitting the tooth in half and restoring the broken part, while the non-restorable part is extracted). I can extract the broken part of the same tooth, and save and restore the part that is worth keeping.

However, there are cases when an implant is a must. I provide dental implants using the latest techniques and technology.

Teeth consist of a tooth portion (crowns) and a root portion. The root portion is the part under the gum and the crown portion is the one above the gum. A dental implant is a “root” replacement, usually made of titanium or full biocompatible zircon.

Titanium is an amazing metal that is extremely biocompatible (not harmful to the living tissue). It is used in dental implants as a metal screw. The implant itself is placed into the bone, buried under the gum, and is not visible to you. It basically replaces the roots of your teeth. After the implant is placed and you go home, nothing is visible other than the stitches.

Dr. Ciugu as well as her secretary were warm, welcoming yet informative and very professional. I am so glad I found this dental office. In addition, I like their sense of humor which reflects how much they enjoy their work! I highly recommend Dr. CIUGU for the most comfortable and professional experience at the dentist!

The whole my family visits this dentist cabinet. The personnel is really nice and funny too, which helps, when you are at the dentist 🙂 We originally come from Norway and prices compared to Norway- just perfect and they do a really nice work. Just this year I have had 5 appointments getting new fillings. The cabinet is always clean and warm. Even during the rainy days, I have never seen any dirt there. The dentist of course uses always new instruments and when I enter after another patient the chair and all around is cleaned up right in front of my eyes. Also getting an appointment is really good. I have no toothache, so I have no haste, but I get appointment every second week without a problem. We are really satisfied and happy that we have such a good dental care in Thoiry. It is in the world class. Only one thing I would suggest, have a good time when you are going there as the dentist takes the emergencies during the day and your appointment can get slightly postponed. But it is really good to know, if I have an emergency, I will get help immediately. So I gladly wait. Le personnel est vraiment sympa et amusant aussi, ce qui aide, quand vous êtes chez le dentiste 🙂 Nous venons de Norvège et les prix ne sont pas comparables à ceux de la Norvège - ils sont tout simplement parfaits et ils font un travail vraiment sympa. Seulement cette année, 5 rendez-vous ont été attribués. Le cabinet est toujours propre et chaud. Même pendant les jours de pluie, je n'y ai jamais vu de sale. Bien sûr, le dentiste utilise toujours de nouveaux instruments et lorsque je rentre après un autre patient, le fauteuil et tout autour sont nettoyés sous mes yeux. Aussi obtenir un rendez-vous est vraiment bon. Je n'ai pas mal aux dents, donc je ne suis pas pressé, mais je reçois un rendez-vous toutes les deux semaines sans problème. Nous sommes vraiment satisfaits et heureux que nos soins dentaires soient trés bons à Thoiry. C'est dans une classe mondiale. Une seule chose que je conseillerais, passez un bon moment lorsque vous y allez, car le dentiste prend des urgences pendant la journée et que votre rendez-vous peut être légèrement reporté. Mais il est vraiment bon de savoir que si j'ai une urgence, je demanderai de l'aide immédiatement. Alors j'attend volontiers. Merci pour moi et ma famille et continuez votre bon travail.
